Sam Kuttner is a learning and performance strategist who helps organizations strengthen their leadership, culture, and systems for growth.

Sam is recognized for translating complex organizational needs into clear, human-centered practices that enable leaders to communicate expectations effectively, coach their teams, and create environments where people can perform at their best.

He is currently the Director of Learning & Performance at BrainPOP, where he leads the company’s performance-management strategy, goal-setting architecture, and manager capability programs. He works closely with executives and cross-functional teams to drive clarity, accountability, and employee development at scale. Across his consulting and internal work, Sam brings expertise in adult learning, facilitation, organizational psychology, and equity-centered design—drawing on experience in schools, nonprofits, and mission-driven companies. In the past, he has worked with big and small nonprofits, as well as a variety of tech companies, including Teach For America, Planned Parenthood of America, Salesforce, The Interledger Foundation, BIO-Key, Trevi Communication, and COIL.

Sam holds a BA in International Relations from Boston University, an MEd in Educational Leadership from Christian Brothers University, and an MA in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from NYU.
