Melissa is a seasoned facilitator with over 20 years experience helping teams get stuff done. In her career, she’s built a strong skill set that brings immediate value to the organizations she works with:

Tech Industry Expertise: As a former tech executive (Adobe, Shopify), Melissa has extensive experience leading and facilitating highly technical teams. She specializes in working with engineers but is highly skilled in leading complex, cross-functional conversations and decision making.

Learning and Development Expert: Melissa started her career as a teacher in NYC public schools and has designed and led adult learning programs as an L&D leader with companies like Code.org, Committee for Children and General Assembly. She can help thread the needle between facilitation and skill building experiences. 

Inclusive Facilitator with a background in Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (JEDI): Melissa has a background in design thinking and DEI facilitation. She’s skilled at creating safe, brave space to have tough conversations around diversity, equity and inclusion or anything else that might be holding your teams back.

Melissa holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan (BA, English) and masters degrees from Pace University (MS, Secondary Education) and Pratt Institute (MS, Library and Information Studies). 

Melissa lives in New York with her partner and her two children. She’s currently deep into capsule wardrobe TikTok and spends much of her free time searching for the perfect latte.
