Becca Youngerman

Group Collaborator: Consultant + Facilitator

Becca Youngerman has spent her career focused on community building, leadership development and issue advocacy work in New York City, Washington, DC, Chicago, Cleveland and San Francisco. Prior to starting her nonprofit consulting work in 2016, Becca served as Executive Director at the Ben Appelbaum Foundation, a tri-state nonprofit dedicated to supporting early stage nonprofit founders and small business owners. Before moving to New York City, Becca managed the alumni community at American University’s Kogod School of Business in Washington DC, where she launched a financial industries affinity group in New York City and a Women’s Network for the business school alumni. Before that, she worked in both regional and national offices of various nonprofits.

Becca holds a certificate in Facilitation from Georgetown University's Institute for Transformational Leadership. She also completed Harvard Business School’s Executive Education program with the Maoz Fellows and completed an Executive Education program in creating and executing breakthrough strategy at Columbia University’s Business School. Becca received a Masters in Public Administration and a B.A. in Political Science from American University’s School of Public Affairs. 

Becca is part of the inaugural cohort of the Schusterman Family Foundation Fellowship and is a member of the ROI community. A proud native of Madison, WI, Becca currently lives in Brooklyn with her husband and son.
